Monitor – Ootan tuult sõnad
Ootan tuult, olen laev, kes on eksinud teelt
vale suund.
Ootan tuult, kes ehk rääkida oskab mu keelt
on mul truu.
Pole viita teel, mille suunda ma oma samme nüüd aina seaks
Ainult tuul vastab hüüdele ääretul veel
tardunud
Tuule häält võin ma kuulda ja kuulama pean
iga päev
Pole kõrvu mul kõigiks juttudeks
Kõrkushuulte pealt petab meid
Mul sõbraks vaid tuul, ma ootan tuult
üks küsimus suul, mul vastab tuul
Ma usaldan tuult, jah ainult tuult
Ma kuulen ta häält
Ootan tuult, olen laev, kes on eksinud teelt
vale suund.
Ootan tuult, kes ehk rääkida oskab mu keelt
on mul truu.
Pole kõrvu mul kõigiks juttudeks
Kõrkushuulte pealt petab meid
Mul sõbraks vaid tuul, ma ootan tuult
üks küsimus suul, mul vastab tuul
Ma usaldan tuult, jah ainult tuult
Ma kuulen ta häält

I’m Native American, but people think black, so they’re alawys hella surprised that I not only don’t have out-of-wedlock babies at all but have never been pregnant so also, no abortions under my belt. My response to this kind of affront would be something along the lines of having NO children is not either unusual’ for a YALE GRADUATE. Everything about me surprises the heck out of people who harbor racist sentiments at so many levels it’s not even funny. That’s why I pretty much only go for guys from other [certain] countries; where they don’t have the stereotypes of people with my color skin in the first place (either that or the particular few guys with whom I associate, the ones who will talk to me and have decent intelligent conversations with me in spite of what color I apparently look like) so they’re not people I have to beat over the head with the fact that, first of all, I’m Choctaw Indian and not black so second of all, there’s no reason on Earth that I should have any of the presumed lifestyle differences from anyone else who oh, I don’t know, went to not only Yale but ANY institute of higher learning. This is not about Yale, rather about the whole lifestyle, culture and world view that LEADS TO pretty much any institute of higher learning. Also, this is why I’m hella glad I finally left behind those years I will call my car-less years after my reposession and while I saved up to pay cash for another car so that I wouldn’t be stuck living in crowded racist hellhole cities riding public transportation. For I do know that if you even look black and have to ride public transportation, you WILL be treated like a prostitute or otherwise slut. And that’s not a female thing, it’s a skin-color thing. Not being dependent on public transportation saves me from the daily insult that my life had become those 7 years in places like Boston, New York, and London.
