You got me blinded by your vicious lights
You took my past
And threw it against your wall of fate
You got me, got me, got me good
You thought you had me on your hook
Wish I could erase the time that you took
That you took from me
[Refrain:]
Insane in vain
Who do you think you are
I’m still standing
I’m still breathing
Don’t hang your shit on me
Insane in vain
This time you’ve gone too far
Who do you think you are
You pinned me down
You had it all worked out a plastic cage
You thought that I would move right in
You got me, got me, got me good
You thought you had me on your hook
Wish I could erase the time that you took
That you took from me
[Refrain:]
Insane in vain
Who do you think you are
I’m still standing
I’m still breathing
Don’t hang your shit on me
Insane in vain
This time you’ve gone too far
Who do you think you are
And maybe I should have known before
Too many signs that I ignored
That you’d be a dead end street to me
There was nothing that you could give
Now rage is all that you left me with
[Refrain:]
Insane in vain
Who do you think you are
I’m still standing
I’m still breathing In
Don’t hang your shit on me
Insane in vain
This time you’ve gone too far
Who do you think you are
that? it kinda infers sotenhimg about you too:) Anyway, earlier this summer we were sitting around the living room with some friends of ours and their little boy leaned over and whispered sotenhimg to his mom which made her laugh. Later, she said he whispered See that girl over there in the green shirt? She has really white legs. Needless to say I was the girl in the green shirt. We all laughed and his mom said Don’t feel bad, I wasn’t tan until we went to Florida. Funny thing is I wouldn’t tan even if I lived in Florida and sun bathed all day every day.I used to be self concious about it, but a few years ago I decided it wasn’t worth it. Also, I just have to say that I feel a special kinship with other fair skinned gals it’s nice to have a little affirmation every once in awhile.
